One dollar ($1) will be added to your account for each book you donate that is accepted by Booksfree for credit. Credits may be used to purchase any book or audiobook on our retail site from our already discounted prices.

If you would like to donate books, please follow these instructions carefully:

1. Identify books in your possession that meet the following criteria:
   
   - Paperback Novel
   - In Like New condition
   - Found on our Web site available to rent
   
   Books that will not be accepted for credit are:
   
   - Books that do not meet the above criteria
   - Silhouette and Harlequin romance
   - Worn, stained or discolored



2. Simply send the book(s) in our prepaid return mailer* or ship them via Media Mail to:

*Request a return mailer if needed (6 books or less)


3. It is very important that you include your Member ID# to ensure proper credit. If you are not sure what your Member ID# is, please visit your account. Member ID# is the first line item.

You will be credited the "Media Mail" cost of postage if you mail the books yourself and not in our prepaid return mailer. Please do not ship First Class.

If mailing donated books in a Booksfree return mailer along with rented books, please clearly identify the books for donation.

Any books donated by members that are not accepted for credit will be given to needy organizations.

Donated books accepted by Booksfree will be listed in your account along with appropriate credit.
