Conversations with Hodge is a "mostly true, inspirational, semi-autobiographical fantasy" about a talking female pug named Hodge who comes to live with the author and his wife. After learning that she can talk, he and Hodge begin a series of conversations, during which he learns much about himself and his limited view of what he considers "reality." Hodge leads him on a personal journey that includes quantum perception, the illusion of time, a much different history of the Earth and, because of Hodge, he learns of man's (and so his own) unlimited capacity for love. Conversations with Hodge will make you laugh, maybe cry, perhaps even remind you to stop and thank God a little more often for the blessing of being alive. We hope that after reading it, you take a stolen moment and tell someone who's special in your life just how much so they are.
