The Empowering Of God's People' is a unique publication of its kind. It presents a detailed and in-depth analysis of the way in which God has always used spiritual gifts to empower his people through all the ages of their relationship with him Part I of this thorough and extensive investigation begins with the Book of Genesis and progresses through much of the Old Testament, showing how spiritual gifting developed both in sophistication and to encompass an increasingly wider spectrum of gifts. Part II of The Empowering Of God's People then moves to extend the analysis to a deep consideration of the New Testament, crucial to which is the gifting and empowered ministry of Jesus himself. The examination progresses through all relevant parts of the rest of the New Testament continuing, as in the earlier parts, to show and develop many insights and draw crucial lessons for contemporary Christians.
