Doc Ford, a marine biologist who lives in the Florida Keys, is intrigued by the sexy enigmatic widow of Jimmy Darroux. Darroux was killed in a mysterious explosion. Everyone from land developers to drug runners want to get near the nonmournful Hannah Darroux who hated her husband. In the meantime the voodoo-practicing widow is keeping Doc captivated with the herbs she places in their pre-coital tea. Eventually Doc clears his head in time to put together the pieces of a wild mystery.
