Achieving/Failing walks the reader through a very interesting life - All the way from cow herder to manager of a large law firm data processing center. The children of the author were normal and did their share of messing up - but never lost sight of right and wrong and/or their work ethic. The book causes laughter often but also teaches moralistic values. Look for the incident dealing with data processing cards strewn over a two mile area after leaving them on top of the author's car and driving off.
