This started as just a few notes for our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, but as I started, all the wonderful memories came rushing in. I compared my childhood to Annie's and how very different we were raised and under such different circumstances. Annie always said that the fact that we even met is one of God's miracles and I agree with her 100%. She would then give me one of her beautiful smiles and she would tell me that we had a guardian angel watching us because we found a very special true love. I could never in a million years find the words to express my feelings when she would say that; I was just very thankful that God saw fit to twist fate a little and put me in her life. We had fun together, we worked together. We held hands all the time, and we loved to hug. I would look at her, watch her walk or plant flowers or just watch her make a salad for dinner and I just felt like I had to get a hug. Those hugs and Annie were my strength and my life. When I would stop in the middle of a department store and wrap my arms around her and give her a kiss, she would tell me that people are looking and I would just say that they must be jealous. I truly loved My Annie with my whole heart and soul and every bit of energy in me.
