Winnie Porter just couldn't forget the child she'd given up for adoption all those years ago…or the wonderful family that had taken him in. Now it was finally time to see her son one last time. Still reeling from his wife's untimely death, the last thing Aidan Black needed to deal with was the unwed mother who brought his beloved Robbie into the world. Especially when she was all grown up into a beautiful, vivacious young woman who'd immediately drawn his boy into her spell—not to mention Aidan himself. Would Winnie's secret shatter Aidan's family—or make it whole again?

A Mother's Wish Wed In The West
by Michele on August 13, 2008
Maggie Porter is finally free. She and her Border Collie Annabelle head to Tierra Rosa New Mexico to see the son she gave up for adoption nine years ago. Aidan Black lost his wife June a year ago. He is putting everything he has into his painting. When Maggie Porter shows up on his property, he’s angry. Maggie gave up all her rights to Robby when she decided against Open Adoption. Forces which neither can control bring these three people together to heal.
I really enjoyed A Mother’s Wish. I loved Maggie’s attitude and Aidan’s grumpiness. It was a nice change to see part of the story from Robby’s point of view. This is definitely worth reading. I know you will be pleased.
