Twice removed from his family, Thomas consoles himself in the arms of a strange woman from his past. He awakes later to her caresses and to find his bloodied corpse on the floor. He isolates himself, murders yearly, and is always cleared. But a dream interrupts his introverted tendencies, and sends him on a path to rediscover his roots.
