Rescued from a burning plane crash, Jim, Alice and Dan travel west to say farewell to Charles, the man who pulled them from the wreckage. Dying, Charles insists he must see them. They assemble in Chicago and head to his bedside in California. Their journey quickly becomes a frightening fight to stay alive as one-by-one they become targets. What is it that Charles has to say?
