Josh Walker is a typical thirteen-year-old boy with one great story to tell. When fate takes a turn for the worse, Josh's best friend Brad dies. It leaves Josh with emptiness and one less friend, but also one big reason for him to take a daring chance: a trip to Terrace Cemetery to visit Brad's grave, then to push on to the haunted Lake Champ. With Albert leading the way for Josh, Sara, and Toby, the trip goes anything but smoothly.
