Suffering. It touches every person. When life feels overwhelming, death often seems like an attractive alternative to living. Feelings of loneliness, abandonment, and despair can set in. Rev. Shaum addresses the hopelessness that faces a suffering person and shows that suffering can only be endured through total abandonment and dependence on Jesus.
