Most of Mike and Paul's ideas started out simple enough but usually got them into a heap of trouble. Take Max for instance. It began with a coffee can, some old junk, and a lot of computer parts. How could the boys know that Max would develop a 'mind' of his own? Maxwell becomes friends with a young girl. Their friendship overcomes all odds, including Max's own circuitry. The boys could never completely depend on Max following their commands, especially when it came to his little friend Chrissy. Although Max caused a lot of problems at first, it was the boys' stubborn faith in him and the miracle of friendship that saved the day.
