In Players in the Paint, several unrelated characters, are quickly drawn into a spiraling vortex of intrigue which is the result of an elaborate plot to take control of all remaining independent minds of humanity, once and for all.

The cast includes two commercial scientists, a pair of military intelligence translators, a Middle Eastern mafia duo, an almost-famous drummer, a stock broker, an investment banker, some disenfranchised twenty-somethings, an underworld debutante, a campus full of students, a fraternity of the political super elite and the President himself. They each stumble along interwoven paths that result in a mind altering journey whose destination is one of madness, corruption and limitless spiritual bounty.

Each character finds their own path to a game they never signed up for, on a court they didn't choose, where life is a spinning basketball, and they are each, Players in the Paint.
