What Next Big Guy' is a wonderful story that transports the reader through four continents. It describes the author's escape from Nazi Germany, growing up in Shanghai, maturing in Montevideo, Uruguay and finally settling in the U.S., through a miraculous tracing of an unknown cousin. Upon arrival in the U.S., the protagonist is soon drafted and stationed in his native Germany. It is also a love story of two happy marriages and conquering adversities in every step of his life. The reader shares the author's zest for life and frequently compares his disenchantments with those in their our lives.
