Mae-Legacy is the dream of African Americans who have lost their lives in order to liberate their descendents. Mae-Legacy, through her intelligence, wit, and pride, shows that race is just a color. She opens the eyes of those around her when she steps on the neck of stereotype, suffocating it forever, giving others the opportunity to see that African Americans are like midnight gold, valuable yet priceless.
