As Carolyn arose the morning of October 17, 1997 from a sleepless night, anticipating a positive prognosis of the surgical biopsy performed a week prior. Who would have thought just hours later tragedy would strike. Sitting in the examination room, the doctor comes in with the pathology report and lays it on the table. As she was talking, Carolyn glances at the report and sees the word MALIGNANT. We invite you to see and explore the awesome power of God as He uses tragedy to manifest blessings upon His people. Knowing that life's tragedies are not designed to break us, but it's God's way of bending us back towards His hand. God uses His power through the lack of rain to remind Israel of His promises of blessing those who are faithful to Him. We challenge you to read how God's blessings are available to you, because a Christian's life is not easy. Each day, one never knows what to expect but you can rest assure that God is near. Through famine, heartache, sickness, and sorrow, we encourage you to look up with great expectation because in spite of it all, I Can Hear the Sound of the Abundance of Rain!
