by Frances Boyd Calhoun
1909. A wonderful, laugh-out-loud book that brings back childhood memories for many. The story is written about a real little boy who lived in Covington, Tennessee. It was written in the dialect of the time but can still be read with enjoyment. The writer of the first volume, Frances Calhoun, died after the completion of the book. The rest of the series was then created by Emma S. Sampson.
